What happened to the Moorea Pearl Beach Resort ???? There was a Moorea page on the Pearl Beach Resorts website on 1/21 and then on 1/22, it was gone !!!! Has it been dropped from the franchise, closed or what? I LOVE that place.

It's still their property. If you try the reservations page, it still comes up as available. Must just be missing from the main page is all.

We saw that too. Reservations page still working, but nothing on the Pearl site. Even the webcam is gone. Looks like the Manihi webcam is locked again as well. I wonder what's going on here?

They do have problems with their internet over there. When we were on Huahine at Christmas time, the electricity went out a couple of times because of storms at night.

Are they renovating the beach bungalows? I'm planning my return in October and when I did a search on Expedia, they only had the garden and OWB available...no beach nor premier beach bungalow.

Really a beautiful resort........One can enjoy adventurous excursions during stay like snorkel diving, jeep safaris, helicopter etc.....Will love to go whenever got a chance....
