Just back from a week at the Mayan Riviera...Nice break from winter, but I caught myself dreaming of the warm lagoons of FP while basking in the mexican sun...Playing in the waves of the caribean ocean...or should I re-phrased getting bounced around and slammed on the ocean floor collecting sand and seaweeds in your bathing suit is just not as fun as floating quietly on a crystal clear lagoon. It was a great resort, but it confirmed that I'm definitely a Tahiti Baby! ;0)

Cheers to all travelling soon!

I know what you mean, Andie. One you've been to FP, you're spoiled. We snorkelled in St. Lucia a few years ago and I couldn't help comparing it (unfavourably) to FP. Oh, well, we're going dogsledding & snowshoeing in March so at least I won't be able to compare that directly.

You can go to Fiji, Bali, Whitsundays, Vanuatu, etc, but it ain't no FP. The water is warmer, the sun hotter, the rooms nicer and the memories last longer than forever. I guess there is no prize for second.

Is there anything better than a sipping a Tahitian Mai Tai on an Overwater Bungalow in FP?
