Need help deciding between Le Meridian, Nui, and Motu for honeymoon?? Is the Motu up to the same standards as the Nui? I see it is only rated 4 stars as opposed to the other two 5 star resorts.

Thanks for any help!!!

I think the reason for the star difference is the size of the other two hotels vs the Motu, the fact that the Nui has a pool and I think both the Nui and Le Meredien have fitness centers.

The Motu doesn't have a pool, but you can use the pool at the Marara on BB. The Motu does have peace and quiet, considering there are only 30 bungalows total on the island. With Le Meredien there are over 85 OWB's and the Nui is a new property with 120 bungalows.

I stayed at the Motu in November and loved it. I was considering staying at the Nui, but the price difference was too much and they were still trying to finish the resort. Now that I have seen some of the pics of the Nui and have actually stayed at the Motu, I know IMO the Motu is a better property.

All of the OWBs at the Motu have unrestricted views of the lagoon, most have views of BB. Where as at the Nui, you have to pay extra for a OWB with a view of something other than other OWBs.

So, my vote would be for the Motu. Have fun deciding.

We were just at Le Meridien in Oct - Nov, even with 85 bungalows it never seemed crowed anywhere around the resort.

We were just at the Le Meridien a couple of weeks ago, we found it to be crowded, poor food, very touristy, and lots of fly's.
