Loc: FP 		they're supposed to check for sharp items etc in carry-on luggage so they'll x-ray that when taking an Air Tahiti flight and will take those out and confiscate... best to leave those in your check-in luggage (even air moorea is supposed to do so but they have no x-ray)

concerning overweight sometimes they're cool sometime not...

Loc: Mesa, AZ 		Air Moorea is definitely weighing luggage now. I just paid about $60 in excess luggage fees!

Loc: Mesa, AZ 		To answer a prior question, the excess luggage weight charge is 70cfp (about $1USD, more or less) for every kilo (2.2 pounds) over the allowed weight.
