One day trip to Bora Bora from Tahiti ?

Last time I was in Papeete on Tahiti, they advertised with daytrips from Tahiti to Bora Bora.
Is this still possible ?
Do you recommend such a trip. Is it worth it ?
I only got two days in Papeete and am a little worried that I will get stuck on Bora Bora island and not be able to get back to my flight in time ...

Not worth it. Too much time in transit. Too expensive a plane ticket

Morty, although it LOOKS easy because the flight is only about an hour, it is NOT easy -- the flight schedule is not conducive to day trips, there are arrangements you must make to get from the Bora Bora airport to main island by boat, and then your time there will be very limited. Not to mention that the round-trip airfare will be close to $400 USD a person -- simply not worth a day trip, in my opinion!
