Just wondering whether there are any shops/small supermarket near the Manava for the usual supplies. Thanking all in advance.

Are you changing your "religion" and staying there in the future iso LM?
There is a small grocery shop "Orohiti" across the road to the left when coming out of the Manava. Down south at about 2 or 3 km there's 2 larger stores but I'd say too far to walk.

Hi P, thank you for reply and, yes, we have to change religion in view of meeting Mr Laurent Bessou. We have been in talks with him over the last week or so and looks like he has convinced us to stay at Pearl Resorts for our next travels back to FP in November 2010.

Actually a couple of our friends who travelled a few weeks before us in November stayed there but it was their first trip to Tahiti!! How is the Radisson these days?

Yes, he mentioned that to us. I think Xavier was actually overseeing BB Hilton when we were talking with Laurent. Do you think Hilton Papeete is a better option?

Well I just stayed at Fare Suisse and quite honestly, for the money, it simply can't be beat for an overnight stay on Tahiti. It was very clean and comfortable, seemed practically brand new, AND the transport both ways was free!
I think the only better deal would be to stay at Poehere's house and her pick you up at the airport. Hmmm....maybe you can start a new business Poehere. LOL!
