Hi folks, will be over in june and am staying on moorea for 10 days, we are looking for some cheap accomodation, were staying at chez nono in bora for 14 nights and its 9 813 CFP per night.

We assumed moorea would be cheaper but it doesnt seem to be and its pushing us over budget! Does anyone know of any double rooms under about 8000cfp per night? preferrably on the north or the island near the bays if possible!

Thanks. :)

Hey, my girlfriend insists I take her to Ireland before we do another Tahiti trip. Would you have any recommendations?

I really enjoyed Ireland when I went in 2000. I was on a group tour with an elderly aunt. The country is beautiful, and so much history, very old history. Late April, early May is a good time to go. It didn't rain too much while were were there, and we were ahead of the big "summer" tourists.

Re Ireland.
The wife and I attended a family wedding in a castle early June, 2009. Although my wife is of Irish descent, I would have preferred to go back to Tahiti. We spent a week travelling the southwest section. If you go don't miss touring the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula and most of all the Kilarney area. We had some rain but mostly clear skies. The driving on extremely narrow roads at relatively high speeds (and the wrong side of the road for me) scared the hell out of me from time to time. Loved the traffic circles tho--very few traffic lights.
In early june the flowers - especially in the area northwest of Galway are absolutely beautiful.

BUT I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO GO BACK TO MOOREA.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah I'm not too excited about Ireland, but since I have a friend working in Scotland for 3 more years maybe we can make a sidetrip to the Highlands, specifically the Glenmorangie distillery!

I LOVE Scotland! Although Ireland is really good too. But if you do go over there to Ireland, make sure you take a side trip over to Scotland, you won't regret it.
