Hi Poehere...Troy and I arrived in Papeete a few days ago and then a couple of days ago we came over here to Moorea for a few days to the Pearl and then we are off to Bora Bora Pearl for another 4 days and we were just wondering what recommendations do you have for the activities here in Moorea? We rented a car today and went to the lookout point and to the waterfalls but we wanted to do either the shark and ray feeding or submarine tour and we were just wondering if it's better to do it in Moorea or Bora Bora? We leave to go to Bora Bora Friday so we wanted to get a full activity in tomorrow...any recommendations? We are water people so any activity you can recommend would be awesome....We look forward to hear from you! Also do you know when the rain will stop??

I'm not Poehere...but...if she doesn't get in here in time to answer your questions...

Personally I'd do the shark and ray feeding over the submarine tour...primarily because you are actually in the water being able to enjoy it, rather than seeing everything through a window....not near as much fun in my book.

And...personally I'd do the shark/ray feeding/motu picnic on BOTH islands....just because it's a heck of a lot of fun and you won't be bored doing it twice. You'll end up seeing and doing a few different things on each tour.

Sorry about the rain. It's been one heck of a wet and wild summer over there. I had a feeling this was going to happen because of the strong El Nino this year. But hey, at least you guys haven't had a cyclone to deal with like I did! LOL!

Hi B&C! Sorry about the weather but that's nature...! As Patti answered, good idea to do the shark ray feeding on both islands although today I don't think its worth it in view of the rain so better to wait for BB, also the weather is suposed to get better (?!) as of tomorrow! If you need some activitiy info for BB post back. Enjoy Becky & Troy (in French they say: mariage pleuvieux mariage heureux = a rainy mariage is a happy mariage!!

thanks guys for both of your input....Barb are you here still? are you in Bora Bora? also do you guys have a facebook page? we rented a car yesterday and took some amazing pics of the rainforest and guys with AK47's...lol...we would love to show you some pics ~ crazy but it was beautiful! The rain is fun however we could do lots more when there isn't any...lol

I think we might do the submarine tour today since it is POURING outside. We will definitely do the shark and ray feeding in Bora Bora since you said they have it in both places.

I'm not sure how good internet is in Bora Bora but we have about 45 minutes left on this card and I hope to hear back from you....thanks much guys :O)

I think this is a good day to taste the various flavors and liquors at the Manutea factory (juice Rotui factory) in Pihaena...

It is on Moorea, at the top, between the 2 bays.
