Hey Becky & Troy, yes I am still here (in the rain too) on Moorea. I guess you leave for BB today? I hope Poehere is PROMISING that the weather will be better at the end of this week -- I'm sorry you had 5 days of rain on Moorea!
But that is why this beautiful island is so GREEN! And at least it's been nice and cool...

I swear I saw a blue hole in the sky yesterday, guess I am either color blind or it was a "fata morgana"

Have you ever seen the rain hang around after a cyclone like this, P? In Australia, once the cyclone passes, there is no rain? Is this a normal thing for FP and the South Pacific?

Wow! I thought I recognized it. So is there another road between the airport and Papeete? Or is access cut off completely?
And...with all those mudslides and such on Moorea...how is Legends Resort doing? Gosh...that place just looks like it's built to wash down the hill in a heavy rain some day.
My goodness...as bad as it was when I was there a few weeks ago with Oli...this rain seems even worse. We had more winds than rain. That rain seemed to come through in bands, rather than 5 days solid like this has been.
Hope all this rain ends soon for you guys.
