My wife and I are considering staying at the Sofitel Motu OWB's in May. For anybody who has stayed there in FP's spring, summer or fall, how good have the OWB's air conditioning been?

Being from Missouri, the A/C won't be a problem, Donk. You'll catch a cold if you want to. But be advised - no snow there.

We were there in November a few years back and we were quite comfortable. Bora Bora's pretty breezy (especially out there) so we just opened the balcony door for a nice breeze.

I agree with Old Wife but we did use the A/C they seem to be good working units just a bit noisy at night. Would love to leave the sliding door open at night but sometimes I have a sleep walking problem.

We used the AC only on our very last day when the temperatures went up to the high 80s and the humidity was awful. The AC was sufficient but did not get the room ice cold like American hotel rooms. Leaving the sliding door open at night is nice but then you hear the AC's from the neighboring OWBs, which are annoying.
