Loc: Duluth, Minnesota 		I wrote about renouncing US citizenship. I was trying to get a dual citizenship in the country of my parents birth (not France) and in order to get the citizenship, that country required me to renounce my US citizenship, not the US asking me.

I think it is almost impossible to get a French citizenship, although I know of a person who just did. But I think it's like in the US. You have to know the facts about France, just like people getting citizenship here need to know about the USA.
