We are heading over to FP for several weeks as part of our honeymoon starting mid May.
We are definitely spending 5 days on Rangiroa, 5 days on Fakarava & 5 on Bora Bora but the rest we can't decide on - is there much to do on Tahiti or would you suggest staying on Moorea instead? I was thinking of 3 on each but my husband to be is not a fan of frequently moving around & would prefer to just stay on one or the other.
We are keen divers/snorklers but thats the main reason for Rangiroa & Fakarava - what other activites are there to do on these 2 islands?

Annamed, I would go to Moorea instead of Tahiti. Here is a link to the un-official what to do list.

As far as Rangi and Fakarava, snorkeling and diving and maybe a pearl farm. The real focus is being in the water.

Barbi I will be doing a 3 week trip to the carribean 24th of may. will Tereva be available. I'm going to islands I have never been to. when do you return to AZ?

Moorea is just the place to be...it gives meaning to life as it should be. If you want to be bored; make it happen! But, if you want to be wild-n-crazy; you can also make that happen and this is way more fun. Just be polite to the locals.
TravelinTom, have a great time on those other islands. Collect something that would look great in my coming soon Liki-Tiki Beach Bar. I think it's finally going to happen. I plan on making between 2,000 to 3,000 plus photos during my 3 week stay on Moorea...many of which will be on display in my island bar.
I still want to put up pictures of Forum Members visiting French Polynesia and having way too much fun on the walls of the place. It has the potential to be just as cool as that Hamburger in Paradise place on Maui owned by Mr. Buffet.
