Loc: Wollongong, Australia 		Maybe try a point and shoot camera with a housing? We have used the Sony W7 underwater at Niue, Somoa, Tahiti (several times) and have found it great until it flooded on our shark and ray feeding trip last year. We have just bought a Sony DSC W290 and housing to replace it. Let you know how it go's.

I actually have a UW housing for my Canon SD900, which I brought. It's a good thing too because I wouldn't have been able to take any UW shots in Bora Bora otherwise.
