I saw a package that interested me: 2 nights in Huahine, 3 nights in Bora Bora, and 2 nights in Tahaa, all at the Pearl, with airfare and transfers, for $5600/couple.
Is this a good deal? Is this too short amount of time to spend on an island? Should I purchase meal plans on Huahine and Tahaa?

Seems like a lot of packing/unpacking for 7 nights, but thats just me. I think breakfast is included at the Tahaa Pearl, it was for us. If you purchase a meal plan your stuck eating at the resort, besides I really don't think it saves you that much.

Hey TennesseeTom, you wouldn't be from Tennessee would you? When are you planning on going? A group of four of us is going in December. Would love to get your feedback if you are going before us. kfrizzell@charter.net

Yeah, $2800 a piece isn't too bad for hotels air & transfers for 7 nights. I assume it's the Te Tiare on Huahine, which is good. Now are you just doing garden bungalows or are they OWB? If they're all garden bungalows with maybe a beach bungalow thrown in, then I think it's average. You'll definitely want to do an OWB somewhere so I'd check on whether any are offered in your package. I wouldn't do meal plans. You can get out, explore, eat at other places (Top Dive, Bloody Mary's, the food trucks etc) and not be restricted. Let us know what type of accomodation.
