Esta is Electronic System for Travel Authorisation... non US citizens have to apply prior to travel (even for transit passengers flying thru US!!!) and people can no longer register for a USA destined flight without the approval or if no authorisation has been given... (airlines no longer have the right to accept passengers without the doc)
You sure you'd want to become a Polynesian protectorate... there's not much left for protecting what or which ever LMAO
