Has anyone used the Sofitel Exclusive Guest Card to get the 20% discount at Motu? Did you get an upgrade? Wondering if it's worth it for this location...

Nope, I booked through an agent who told me the price I was getting was better than the rack rate minus 20% that I could have got with the card. I did however get the free card so we would be able to get a late check-out. We left the hotel the same time as three other couples and had the latest check-out at 3pm. One of the other couples had to be out of thier bungalow at noon and just hang out until our boat took us to the airport in BB at 4:00.

bsinutah,

Applied for the card a couple of weeks ago when we firmed up our reservations...leaving thursday night for the Motu...nothing in mail yet...Do you remember how long it took them to send out the card??

If it doesn't show, we'll try to fake our way through it.

Thanks.

I don't remember, but we never did have to show it to anyone. We just told them we were card holders and asked for a late check out.

Have a fantastic time. Enjoy the banana daquaris and cheeseburgers.

I am staying at the Sofitel Motu in April and was wondering how you get this "free" card. The only card I could find cost$$. Thanks.

BSINUTAH

Thanks very much

Hope we get late checkout or earlier flight.

As a "last meal" in Seattle tonite, we're going to do Mexican, cause we are counting on that cheese burger for Friday's lunch.

Have a great time on your trip, savor every moment.

We went to dinner with someone last night who wanted to see our Tahiti/BB photo album, I just love reliving the trip through the stories and the pictures.
