We are struggling to decide which hotel to stay in - after reading reviews in Frommers and on this and other forums we are at a loss. We know that the Hotel Bora Bora is considered the best, but for $800 a night - how much better can it really be. So we were thinking two nights there and then two nights at the Lagoon or the Pearl - but opinions really seem to vary. What we are looking for: beautiful room that you can swim from the deck and actually see fish (we don't want to be on a sand bar), nice beach, great view and good service. Most of all some privacy. Has anyone stayed at both the Pearl and Lagoon or at least visited both your opinion would be very helpful - thanks!
