Does anyone have an opinion or evidence that a travel a agent can be cheaper than organising everything yourself on line? I'm just wondering if it would be cheaper booking everything on line myself or going to a travel agent. Might it just depend on what you yourself want?

Kelo, if it's your first trip, I'd definitely recommend using a travel agent. There are two many complex arrangements to make with ground and boat transfers, inter-island flights, etc., to make yourself unless you spend a lot of time researching how to do this. Also, a travel agent very often can offer you a package price that is less the sum of all the individual arrangements you'd make yourself.
This website is run by a very reputable travel agent whom we highly recommend -- why not go to the home page, fill out the form, and request a quote?

OK, thank you. I thought as much. I was going to try to book it all myself but it was going to be too involved. to be honest I checked a few weeks ago and the total cost of the holiday wasn't going to that much higher than some of the flights alone to FP from here.

I might be doing this trip alone. If that is so I don't mind just booking the flights to Tahiti and the accommodation too and simply wait until there's a flight to the island/s I want to stay on. I've no problem with that. If, however, I do have someone with me I'll book the first trip by a TA. Thank you again for the help. ;)
