LOL! And the taped-up cooler (I think it's a cooler--the green thing) reminds me of so many coolers we saw packed to come and go to Fakarava! That and carboard boxes all taped up, too.

Manihi and Tikehau look very much the same - I love it!!! We always knew when a plane was due to land at Manihi. We would be sitting on the OWB balcony and slowing all the locals would start appearing across the lagoon in their little run-abouts. Then approx 20 minutes later, plane lands and the locals return with esky, boxes and extra persons on board LOL!

Time to go back to school...
Traditional send off with kids wearing home made (palm leaf) hats and beautiful tiare lei's as they fly to Tahiti after having spent the holidays on the home atoll.
