Has anyone been to both the IC La Moana and the IC Thalasso? I stayed in La Moana IC back in 2006 before the Thalasso IC was built. I loved the part of the lagoon it was on ... the water was beautiful and a little shallow which I liked. I have looked at video of the Thalasso (on youtube from individual people not professional resort ones) and the water didn't look as nice or clear. Maybe it is a little deeper there? I know the rooms are nicer at the Thalasso but the water/view is more important. Opinions??? thanks, Kerri

Kerri, the water is deeper at Thalasso (especially the end of pontoon rooms).
Try this link:

And especially try this link which includes a detailed trip report of both Thalasso and Moana:

No, I've only walked around the Moana and haven't been to Bora Bora since the Thalasso was built so I'm no help.

Kerri, regardless of which property you stay at you have full privileges of the other. You can take the shuttle between the 2...eat at both, use the facilities at both.....you just have to sleep at the one you paid for.
