My fiancée and I are spending our honeymoon in Bora Bora between November 20 and 25th. I have two short questions that will really help us plan our trip:
1) What is the usual time that most people make dinner reservations for both casual and fancy restaurants?
2) How late do water taxis run from the main island out to the motu where the St Regis is located? I think the answer to #2 may decide the answer to #1

Thanks everyone! We really enjoy reading all of the questions and helpful responses on a regular basis.

Brian

I don't know the answer to 2, but most Europeans eat much later than North Americans. While I think 6 is a reasonable time for dinner, we found we were very early if we went for dinner then at the casual places we walked to (the good thing about that is you can often get better seats!). When making reservations for dinner at your resort, though, they usually just tell you what time to show up. The vehicle that picks you up on the mainland picks up several people and you arrive with them and leave with them (so don't rush through your dinner).
