Hi this is my first post and my husband and I are planning to go to BB in early November. My question is the Hilton Bora Bora Nui or the Softiel better? We want an OWB and great snorkeling. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

I've only stayed at the Sofitel Motu so I can tell you what that experience was like. The snorkelling is excellent (very good by your bungalow and excellent at the far end of the island and the far side). The resort is small and intimate and you seldom see other people. The shuttle to the main island is on-demand so you simply ask for it to be sent over to you (if it isn't where you are) and you can feed the fish while waiting for it. The OWBs have a great view of Bora Bora and have a huge bed, sitting area with glass floor feature, desk, 2-3 level deck (sun/shade/shower platform for washing off salt water), double sinks, separate toilet and rainfall shower. Kayaks and snorkelling equipment (if you don't bring your own) are free. You can walk over the motu to snorkel or take a kayak. The view from the top of the motu is beautiful!!
