no idea what this is. Also any suggestions of location of a supermarket withing walking distance of the Intercontinental Resort Papeette.

It is a mobile food wagon. There are some stationed around various parts of the islands. In Papeete, in the evening, there are literally dozens of them down in the parking lot near the ferry dock. They serve all kinds of food...crepes, steak and frites, chow mein, rotisserie chicken, pizza, desserts, etc. (no alcohol). The food is great and very reasonably priced. They are frequented mostly by locals, but it makes for a really great dining experience "Tahitian style".

and often at the roulette plaza they have free entertainment at night as well as local artist stuff that you can buy.

However, I don't know if they have stuff from Indochina, for example, so you have to look for the local stuff for sure.

Hi Blondietoo, you actually have choice of 2, when going right out of the Beachcomber walk down (during day time) past the Sofitel until you see the MoanaNui mall, Carrefour supermarket, when going left walk down until you see Champion supermarket (other side of the road). Both about 10 min walk
