Worth it to stay at both Nui and Hotel Bora Bora

We have 6 nights onBora Bora and we are contemplayting whether we should split it up by staying 4 nights at Hotel Bora Bora and 2 nights at the Sheraton Nui.
We already have confirmed reservations at HBB and we definitely want to expereince what everyone is talking about at the Nui- is it worth it to stay there for 2 nights or can we go there for the day?

I like to get to a place, unpack, and try to "live" there for as long as possible. For that reason, I would say stick to 1 place and deal with it. The Hotel BB is lovely and I think that it is a bit more casual than the NUI, but still a 1st rate place with a great view. You can take the shuttle boat for free to the NUI to check it out. It leaves in Vaitape every hour, I beleive. I dont know how they feel about using their facilities if you're not staying there, but it is worth a try. I am sure that they will let you eat there if you so desired.
