Hi. Can anyone provide me with insight to the Bora Bora Nui resort...we are thinking of doing an over water bungalow at the Moorea Sheraton so we'd like to do a NON-over water bungalow at the Nui...Which are the best? Does this resort have regular hotel rooms? We definitely want a bungalow...I've heard they have tree top like ones that are interesting...? Any input is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Your other two options other than a OWB, I think, would be a Hillside Bungalow or a Beach Bungalow. The hillside bungalows looked very interesting to me as they afforded some great views off of their decks and big windows, and they were a little out of the way of the main area. The other nice feature is that they are right next to the Mandara Spa, which, along with a small chapel, occupy the top of the hill. The downside is that to get to and from the bungalows, you need to walk up and down the hill, which has maybe a 400-500 ft. vetical. The beach bungalows are located on the beach amidst palm trees. I think that these bungalows have the leat attractive views because they are really blocked by the OWB in front of them.
However, with that being said...We stayed in both the Sheraton Moorea and the NUI. While the Moorea's were nice....the NUI's bunglows were really awesome...New, well appointed LARGE! It really impressed us. I think that no matter where you stay at the NUI, the inside of the bungalows are all identical...but you may want to check that out, just in case.
