I am looking for a local I met 8 years ago when I last visited Bora Bora. We have corresponded a few times since and I am returning in Nov. I sent her a letter 2 months ago and havent heard. I was wondering if there is anyone that is in this forum that lives on the island or has family or friends on BB to help me contact Jaqueline.
thank you

Do you know her surname? The "white pages" of the FP phone book is located at this link, which might give you a phone number for her: http://www.annuaireopt.pf/pagesblanches.php

To call from the USA, dial 011-689 before the 6-digit local FP number.

Perhaps Poehere will be along soon to provide some help!

Welcome to the forum!

Ia Orana to all

thank you Barbi I found One number in Bora Bora that the first and last name match. The only problem I dont speak much French and her english isnt the greatest. All the letters I wrote i had someone translate in french. . BUT let me tell you all reguardless of the language barrier we hung out all day and evening. she and her family took me around the island site seeing and back to her house for FRESH coconuts and fish and rice . Thats TRUE HOSPITALITY

@ Poehere her full name is Jacqueline Pautu. Her parents live on Tahaa and her and her brother live in Bora Bora. She worked at Le Maitai Polynesia and her brother was working in construction. at the time of my last visit he was working on Nouvetel across the street from nemo world diving. I looked for her on facebook but as I remember internet acess and a computer was a major LUXERY.
One other thing Poehere.....In Papette can you recomend a good jewler to buy black pearls. I cant find the card of the store i went to before

thank you once again for all you help
carmella

and SUKI it s all about BEV-MO in the usa to get HINANO!!!!! and im with you FP4LIFE..

I remember Jacqueline. She was there at the reception desk when I stayed there about 5 years ago. A very nice lady.

Hmmm...I guess it's possible there are/were 2 Jaquelines there. I stayed there in Feb 2005 and the Jaqueline I met was at reception. She was not young....but certainly not old....maybe mid/late 30's or early 40's at the most. Very pretty, medium height, slim, very nice.
