the nearest supermarket to the Intercontinental Resort in Tahiti? Can we walk there? Also how much roughly is a cab to the resort from the airport?

Chin Lee is the famous local supermarket in Tahiti. It is generally approached by most of the people due to its reasonable prices and quality goods. Can’t say for its distance from Intercontinental Resort.

Cab to the resort will run between $15 and $25, depending on time of day. Some taxis will charge $1 additional per luggage piece. It's best to ask before you get in.

There is a supermarket in Le Petit Village about a 20 minute walk from the IC.

Ummm - Chin Lee is on Bora Bora so perhaps a good pair of shoes and a boat necessary to get there from Tahiti.
Le Petit Village is near the Intercontinental on Moorea not Tahiti.
Carrefour supermarket is a short distance from the Intercontinental Tahiti adjacent to the main circle island road.
I haven't been in a couple of years but there also used to be a Champion Supermarket if you take a left out of the Intercontinental. They don't have the selection of the Carrefour but maybe a shorter walk. The Carrefour is about a 20 minute walk to the right and past the Sofitel.

Yes, the smaller Champion is closer to the TAHITI Intercontinental than Carrefour is.
For Chin Lee(BB) or Le Petit Village (Moorea), you would need to swim or fly! :-)

If you don't have any heavy luggage with, then you better walk. Enjoy the view while walking. :-)
