Hi everyone. Me and my dad are coming to FP in May and my dad says we won't have to make reservations ahead of time. We will be going to Moorea and Huahine. What do you guys think? Will we be able to find moderate accomodations without making reservations ahead of time? We will be there on May 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22nd, then again on June 3, 4, 5 and 6th. Will we have to sleep on the beach? Shanda

Many do do this all the time. But I think it depends on what accoms you are looking for. Obvsiously if you are set on the Moorea Beachcomber Sheraton Parkroyal hotel & spa with an OWB and room #221, then you should make a res, if you want to ride the wind and set off for the unknown (highly enjoyable actually) then you can find a place on arrival. There is always 'something'. your dates aren't really very high season
