I was able to just email Air Tahiti my credit card number (in more than one email so that if someone got a hold of one, the whole number wasn't there). They told me I didn't have to do that but could if I wanted to.

Oasis Immigration Network If you are doing multiple islands it does give you a savings. BUT, you have to follow their rules on island order, etc. They are not very flexible for changes. http://www.oasisimmigration.com/
They will send you an authorization form for a credit card. THe nice thing also is that they will give you lots of time for payment. I confirmed my itinerary in early January and I have until March 14 for payment. You can make changes without charges before your payment.
Thanks Vai! I did not sue. I used!
What happened with Air Tahiti--- they did not charge me enough for my flights. So I emailed them and told them
I got a new authorization form from them and faxed the new info. All set right?
When I got to Tahiti during Christmas, there was no flight for me. I had all of my paperwork with me, but it did not matter.
We did get on a flight where we were the last 2 people to get on the plane seconds before it took off.
There were no seats on any plane that day. We lucked out.
I learned that any changes made invalidates your flight, even though I had paid.
So, I do not recommend making any changes with them.
That is why I went with Travel Portfolio the next year as we were going at Christmas again.
I have booked with them myself online.
But it sounds like that was not the case with her changes. So who knows!!

Just a quick question regarding the AirPass, we are visiting the islands in this order:
Tahiti, Huahine, Moorea, BB, Tikehau and back to Tahiti.
The airpass has been booked as part of our whole booking with our Oz travel agent.
The problem is the flight from Moorea to BB has now changed and it is going to get into BB at approx 3:00pm (whereas originally when we first booked it, it was arriving approx 12:00pm).
Can we divert and go Moorea back through Tahiti then onto BB to obtain an earlier flight? I know we did this in 2009 but we were coming back from Manihi and we paid an extra $100 pp to do the stopover in Tahiti).

G&C, I don't think so... do you have the BB Tuam pass? Transit or stop in Tahiti with the pass is not allowed unless you have bought the Moorea+Tuam pass (but you go to Tikehau from BB...) which is another one... Transit is also allowed only in cases where a particular pass is bought with the extension "Australes" ou "Marquises".

Hi P, yes we have the BB Tuamotu pass - I just remember last time our travel agent found a loophole allowing us to come back through Tahiti - we were just hoping to get to BB earlier in the day :)

G&C,
I was recently told that any changes (by you, not them) to the AirPass will cancel the rest of your itinerary and make you rebook the remainder of it. Perhaps the "loophole" is that THEY changed your BB flight so maybe you may be entitled to reschedule to get there earlier another way, but I doubt it... There are less flights these days, and the flight you had booked from MOZ to BOB was probably originating in PPT anyway.

Thanks Barbi - I got our local TA to go back to the wholesaler on the ground in Tahiti but it is a no go - our original flight departed Moorea around 12.05pm so we were arriving around lunchtime. The new flight goes via Huahine and does not get to BB until 2:30pm.
We were just hoping to get an earlier flight so we could come into BB and get some more photos of the island coming into view, rather than the afternoon flights which tend to come in from a different direction.
