Tahitian Christmas in Hawaii in January

Our wonderful friend from Bora Bora, Henri LiChin, came to Hawaii this month for a visit. I picked him up from his hotel and he spent the afternoon with us. He surprised us with the two most perfect gifts in the world. The first was a three pack bottle assortment of my favorite alcoholic beverages that comes from the Avatea Distillery on Tahiti Island including the flavors of Coco Vanille (which I keep a good stash in our home), Cafe Coco, and Blue Lagoon (the latter two which I have never tried until now). I am sipping on the Cafe Coco as I write this posting and dreaming of a trip to FP.
The second gift was a Tahitian Cultured pearl pendant for my Greek wife Paraskevi. Crafted with seven gorgeous baroque peacocks, it is designed to form a bunch of greenish-hue grapes with 18k gold vines at the top. Henri designed it himself especially for my wife, knowing that the jewelry contained two things my wife loves best (besides me): anything that is Greek-related and baroque Tahitian Cultured pearls. It's my wife's new favorite piece of jewelry. I'll try to post a picture of it soon. Oh, the joys of having friends who live in FP. We are so thrilled with our Christmas gifts and just had to share this with all of you.

That is the best story I have heard in a while - we would love to see a photo of this special pendant too!!

Rod,
Use the "reply" button under your post (rather than the "quick reply" form at the bottom of the page). Click on the blue "File Manager" option, then by "Browse" you can add your photo from, then "Add Photo," checking that the address of your photo shows in the box, then "Add File" and then "Done Adding Files" and the photo will be imbedded in your reply.
Reduce the size of the photo first -- this webpage only accepts small photos. Hope this helps!
