Hubby says that the wall that is on the beach by Fare is almost done.

He says that the huge huge rocks are at an angle now with many pockets in which fish can hide . He says that the snorkeling is great there.

Sounds like things are progressing well. When are you going over? I know you've mentioned, but I can't find that post. Does thinking of your hubby preparing a lovely nest for you in paradise make bearing the Minnesota winter easier?

I am leaving the 15th of Feb. It's weird because of having a health issue, so I am not the carefree person I was before in going. I am working on attitude adjustment.

He is getting this little beach house ready as it needs some work. I am bringing screen that he is going to staple on the windows. I was going to bring Great stuff to fill in some holes, but it's not allowed on the plane.

We have the choice of renting a couple more houses as well. both of which have their pluses. I was worried about finding a suitable house, and now we have three to choose from.

If people want to stay longer, houses are available at good prices.

One is Marti's house and one is a house a couple blocks from Villas Bougainville. That location is apparently very windy.

But I am thinking how bad can it be? It might keep the bugs down.

You've got some choices to make. Or you could live where your husband is currently staying.... You'll know once you get there, eh?

yes. Hubby said that I have to try it out and see what I think will work.

There are pluses to all of the choices that I see from 8000 miles away. :)

Tough battle between the termites, ants and alike but in any case the house just serves as a bedroom as everyone lives outside LOL or have that US team with the tv show come to do a free make-over huh that would be a blast

Leaving tomorrow. Hubby says that he has fixed the windows so they can accept screen. I don't understand why any window couldn't accept a stapled on screen, but whatever.

He said since he's filled in the holes, the ants have gone way down.

Now if anyone is reading this and is scared away from FP, PLEASE do not be.

Your resort or tourist rental will not have these issues, except maybe for ants. We just keep everything in the frig.

I am bringing a tire for the scooter in my luggage. 2 suitcases that are each just under 50 pounds.

And an extremely large purse filled with tons of paperback books. I think this is the last time the books are going to be on board for me. But hubby promised buddies books. The Nook or the Kindle it will have to be.

I hope they accept my Weekender Le Sportsac as a purse.

All this from a person who normally goes with one carry on and a regular sized purse!

the wall is done and the path is complete. The shacks that were between the Snack Temarara and Milton and Tsing Tsing's place are gone. The owner is cleaning up the land, but no one is sure what he is going to do there.
