thank you! I am leaving on Tuesday with a ton of stuff. Usually have one carry on, but the house hubby has for us right now has no screens, for example, so screen and staple gun and staples.
Two tent like things. One for over the bed and one for sitting outside. A pillow.
I used those bags where the vacuum cleaner sucks them way down.
The weather here on Tuesday looks good, so hopefully no flight delays.
It's going to be very strange. When I want something here, I just go get it. But that's not the way it is going to be over there. A whole learning experience for me. Hubby has learned somethings already.
He is filling the holes in the house with mortar. He says that it is a beach shack. But it's 4 feet from the water.
I hope that I like it as the price is right. If not, a couple of other options that are still very reasonable. Probably more if we really wanted to search.
Thanks again for the good wishes.
This site is filled with the most amazing people, isn't it!!!

Oh, how I envy you! I'd love to have an adventure like that. We're used to basic living (we love camping and cottaging). As long as I have a few basic things, I'm happy.

Enjoy and congratulation. I still have to wait 17 days. This board is amazing. It's funny, I get lots of info from here even I have Tahitian friends there.
