Wow, sounds great!

Skip the burger place just east (maybe a 10 minute walk) of the Hilton Moorea (a spot with picnic tables set up & you can smell them cooking). At least, when we were there, it wasn't great (which was greatly disappointing to us).

Thanks OW - this is the first time in our 5 other visits to FP that we don't have the half board included.

The packages ended up being cheaper with just breakfast and transfers included, so we'll just find somewhere for Gary to eat lobster for dinner and we'll be set!!

G&C, make sure you try Snack Mahana in Papetaoi, Moorea. Great fish. We'll miss you again as we go mid Nov. to Dec 3rd.

It's just before the Interconti on the lagoon side (coming from Pao Pao) chalet type house, white.

Te Hono iti has been up for sale for a while now so I would choose another gourmet address like la Villa des Sens $$$$$ at the legend resort (across from Interconti) or Le Cocotier (Maharepa, superb foie gras...!) or le Mayflower in Haapiti (not sure which ones will pick you up) The Mahogany in Maharepa is one of the most stable resto's meaning quality/ownership wise it is always same and great selection chinese, tahitian french for reasonable prices

Thanks, P. So are there any decent restaurants (either lunch or dinner) within walking distance from Hilton?

G&C...if you like poisson cru....I absolutely LOVED the one they serve at Snack Mahana. I haven't had it everywhere possible yet... but so far it was the best I've had.

When I had it they served it with fries...and I gotta tell you...the fries dunked in that juice are surprisingly good!

Yes there is one but Aito's has gone downhill. I just had an email from our caretaker yesterday describing it.
