A confidence motion was filed Thursday in late afternoon, around 18 pm, against the government of Gaston Tong Sang. The motion is the leader of the UPLD, Oscar Temaru, as the new president of French Polynesia

Since things just swing back and forth between Gaston and Oscar, maybe FP should allow the two of them to just share the presidency - no elections or takeovers every few months. Maybe the day's decision maker would be determined by a friendly game of shooting baskets - best 2 out of 3.

This is the main reason for all the instability in FP. Without a stable government, there will be no one investing in that counrty. No investments mean no progress or development. Change is needed, just not every few months.

Take the 2 of them and stick them on one of the uninhabited atolls....with no form of communication or means to leave!!! Leave them there for 5-10 years and let FP move on without them!
