my hubby has been taking a medication for almost 40 years. When I went to the doctor, I ordered more drugs to bring here for my hubby-in Feb. AFTER I got here, my DIL informed us that the drugs were the wrong strength. So, she ordered more and had them sent here. That was in Feb.
They arrived the other day but will not be allowed into the country as they are not approved in Europe.
Makes me feel good about the meds he has taken for 40 years.

I had the best poisson brochettes. They are at Chez Gynette's. $10.00. Salad, fries and 2 brochettes. More food than I can eat.
They have spray balsamic vinegar and spray oil for the salad. But the brochettes are the best!!

More info about a longstay.
I don't know if it is true on every island, but the locals complain about "colony quality" items. My husband has found that to be true of tools , for sure.
It is felt that the "colonies" get things that do not sell anywhere else. If you need an item, then I would suggest that you bring it from home. For instance, I want smoothies, so I am going to bring a blender. People who have bought blenders have not had much luck.
Also, leather is not a good idea. It gets mold on it very quickly.
The pareo for the woman is the best clothing. You can get fancy hand painted ones at Pacific Arts in Fare or really fanby ones for about $45.00 at Pension Maurii boutique.
They are suitable for all occasions.
For the beach situation, I use mine to sit on as well. The ideal garment.

today on the beach at Fare, someone stole a man's backpack off of the beach. The man was watching it while he swam.
The thief was like a Ninja. I have brought my bag to the beach everyday for a couple of months. I am lucky no one took it. So,, b careful out there.
April is a really low tourist time here. So if you want to come, April might be a really good time for deals.
Sounds funny maybe, after talking about the beach theft. During the week, the beach is practically empty. Where can you get that?
