Rats! When will they learn that there are MANY of us who want to go for longer than ten days??

ATN should consider allowing longer stays. It would help in economy in French Polynesia. Just consider if they allowed
30 days what that would do income wise for the hotels, restaurants, and all of the other tourist related business

That's the problem...WE are using common sense!!! THEY are NOT!!!
If you have a sale from X date to Y date...they why can't you just buy tickets anytime within those dates? Just as many seats will be sold...as there are still the exact same supply of seats available regardless of where the departure and return dates fall within that time period. In fact, they'd likely sell more seats because those people who do want to stay longer may decide to jump in and buy instead of staying on the sidelines!!!
Just from those owners I know at Club Bali Hai the sales would increase if the stays were longer. Most of the CBH owners own several weeks...not just 1....they want a more reasonable airfare so they can go use their timeshare for a few weeks.

there might be a problem with me and translation, but I don't think the locals have a clue how much flights cost. I get the impression that they have a much lower cost coming to the US and had no idea how much it costs to come to FP from the US.
But I may be totally wrong about this

Tahiti Presse yesterday announced that North American tourisme to FP is up 13%. And guess what? "Visitors stay on average 13 days in Tahiti and Her Islands, the French Polynesia Statistical Institute added." Why doesn't ATN pay attention?

Guess I'll have to get on FB when I get home and post that stat so maybe someone from ATN will see it. They might get a clue, but I doubt it.
