Whoahhhh! I'm so excited! When I started counting, I was at 183...I think I'm ready! Leaving early (with the chickens!) from Ottawa at 6:45 am, May 31...It will be a long day, but who cares!! Will report on my trip upon my return June 27.

OW - This is our 3rd time in the same time of the year...First time (May 2006) was because it was work related for my husband, so there was no choice of dates (not complaining!). The second time was because of my 50th birthday (May 19 2009) and now, it's to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in June. It just happens that way, but I also know that, even if it's not that bad, our winter months are more proned to rain and high humidity (and mosquitos) down there and that April to October are the "better months". But no mistake, I would take FP ANYtime of the year! Besides, that way, summer starts a bit earlier for us and I get a good tan for the next few months!
We do like our winter (the snowier the better) because we ski,snowshoe, etc. but we don't mind escaping for a week to an all inclusive if we've had enough.

Interesting. I hate winter . When it became mid April on Huahine, I was not as in love with the weather as I would get a little chilly on the beach around 5:00 PM. It probably dropped to about 80 for all I know.
I was there from mid February until April 30,and we had one day of rain all day- sometime in April. The rest of the time there was only rain at night, or a brief shower in the day. But it was an unusually cold and dry summer for them.
