Here are some pictures from our trip in May. We took over 2000 pictures, so it was difficult to narrow it down to this manageable level. I'll post the first part of my trip report soon. Enjoy!

great pictures! People can really see the resorts.
Unfortunately, unless I get a miracle infusion of money, those resorts are out of my price range.
But, we plan on going to Huahine for 6 months starting in November and we can take a ship over to Raiatea for $8.00. We can stay in a place with a car and a boat and take the boat to Taaha.
Is there anything that you can recommend for us to do on Taaha? Thanks for the pics and the advice. (I hope)

Fabulous photos carrieq.
Glad to see that Keishi is still in business. I loved meeting Perroit and hearing his stories.

Beautiful, beautiful photos, carrieg!!!
Quick question, do you remember your room number at Four Seasons and Hilton Moorea? Can't wait to get back there in December:)

I think we had room 217 at the Four Seasons, and room 107 at the Hilton.

Great pictures. Been to Vahine. Still looks great. Had the table on the upper level at Villa Mahana. Wonderful restaurant. Never stayed at the Hilton Moorea, but have been there with friends.

Great pics Carrie. Can't wait to read your trip report. In the meantime...just a couple quickies....how did you like Bora Bora now that you have finally been there? And....how did you like staying at a different property on Moorea?

Hi Patti!
We liked Bora Bora, but like you, I don't know if I ever need to go back. I thought the lagoon was beautiful, and I'd been wanting to try Villa Mahana and a private shark/ray feeding/motu picnic excursion for forever, but now I've done those things. I thought the Four Seasons was a beautiful resort, and the service was outstanding, but I felt like I could be in Hawaii or something. There was nothing Polynesian about it.
I liked the Hilton, but still prefer the Pearl (but only slightly). They are very similar properties, and while I loved the crepe bar at the Hilton, nothing beats being able to walk to Carmeline's everyday for an ice cream cone.
How have you been?
