When did they stop doing shark feedings in BB? Are they still allowed to feed rays?

They only stopped feeding them INSIDE the lagoon. Shark feeding still takes place (as well as ray feeding) but it happens on the edge or outside of the lagoon. Good move, in my opinion, as the non-divers don't cope with a fin passing their room at dusk.

Hmmm sadly so there's still a lot of sharkfeeding going on, even in the lagoons... it's like the STOP season for catching lobster etc, or those in the Tuams still catching and eating turtles... Rules and regulations, especially in relation to whatever nature has to offer for free, take a VERY long time to be accepted, if ever...!

G&C I can't remember where I posted about Laurent but I meant he who used to run the dive shop with Vincent at the Tikihau Pearl, he also did a huge inventory of the manta rays... memba him? lol

Sorry, P. When we at Tikehau last time Laurent must have been on leave. I was lucky enough to have dived with Giles (he was out there filling in). I ran out of air on the first dive (my gauge was faulty) so I was glad to have Giles there with me. I have a brand new Galileo computer now, so I'll be right in a few weeks. Looking forward to diving at Tikehau again!

If anyone is interested, here's a link to diving at Bora Bora (I'm the one in the multi-colored wetsuit).
