Old Wife, I'm in the same time zone as Stan for half the year, and have trouble staying up late in FP, even after staying more than a month there! I think it's just the lifestyle and peace and quiet there... Also, this time of year, the sun sets around 5:30 p.m., which leaves a lot of night time before 9 p.m.!

That sunlight thing is big, isn't it? It's hard not to rise with the sun and want to go to bed with it, too, in FP. And we sleep so well there, too!

What's fun in the middle of the night is a lay on a lounge chair looking at the stars then falling back sleep and have the nightime rain wake you up again.

Thumbs up to YosemiteGirl2 response! We just sat on the deck watching the stars and the water. So peaceful.
