Apparantly ATN is investigating an incident that took place in San Pedro, California on August 19th.
Here is a machine translation with the original French post from Tahiti Infos below: ATN: the company investigates on the incident of San Pedro 19/08/2011 The company Air Tahiti Harmed asserted to Tahiti Infos that she took "very to the serious one" the one or more implying incident members of the flight personnel at the time of a stop to Los Angeles, in a hotel of San Pedro. An investigation was opened, asserts ATN, that precise that the information collection is in course. Nevertheless, precise the general direction, the nature of the facts is again uncertain. "If the facts are proved, penalties will be applied with impartiality", asserts the company.

LOL at the translation machine--they always end up with such stilted text. This is probably easier to read:
The company investigates the San Pedro Incident 19/08/2011 Air Tahiti Nui confirmed to Tahiti Infos that it took "very seriously" the incident implicating one or more flight personnel at the time of a stopover in Los Angeles, in a San Pedro hotel. An investigation was opened, confirmed ATN, who indicated the collection of information is in hand. Nevertheless, the head office indicates the nature of the facts is still uncertain. "If the facts are proven, sanctions will be applied impartially", asserts the company.

I've never used Bing (I don't know why). Sometimes I use Babel Fish if I can't translate it myself with my high school French (there are some words I just don't know).

The coconut radio news is that the ATN pilot (supposedly the same one who smacked the AA pilot in Tokyo a few months back) got drunk and ran nude around the pool at the crew's LAX hotel recently.

That's funny that that one came out... LOLOL
Apparently somewhere early August 6 or 7th, I forgot, the same technical crew member who handed a knuckle sandwich to his American collegue of AA in a Japanese hotel, had a party at the hotel in San Pedro, lots of noise, lots of booze, so he took off his clothes and ran around the pool naked... the security guard stopped him and asked his name, he forwarded the name of one of his collegues who was sound asleep at the time.
Next morning investigation by the hotel management, they called in the security guard who did not recognise the person involved, so the other guy named by his boozing collegue running around in Adam's custome, got in to trouble and complained...
So far the pilot unions (supporting their "bad" collegue) apparently threatened ATN's management that if any sanctions will be taken they'll strike again... jeeeeez what a soap opera huh!

Is it a pilot?
I would think that the co workers would want him gone. It puts all of them at risk. One bad apple makes the rest of them look bad.
We have a huge doctor lawsuit here. He is being sued by 23 different people now. Different from the several people that sued him earlier. My neighbor who is permanently disabled is one of his victims.
The hospital covered for him because he brought in so much money.
So it seems to happen with every profession that the bad apples don't get thrown out.
