Loc: Denver 		Just got back from 10 nights at Vahine Island. We stayed in Fare Ono which is next to the maintenance shed. We had no problem with noise or lights on any day. The staff was very respectfull of our privacy and comfort.

Loc: Denver, Co. 		Glad you enjoyed it Jonathan, that was the the one we were in. Did they ever plant a barrier of bushes or anything between the shed and Fare Ono? Looking forward to a trip report.

Loc: Denver 		They have a small barrier between Fare Ono and the shed. It iis not as mature as the ones between the bungalows. It needs a while to fill in.

Loc: California 		Can't wait to see your whole trip report!! Vahine Island has been on our list for a long while.

Did you happen to notice how the coral is doing near the resort? Taha'a's lagoon has been having an issue with crown of thorns for years now.

Loc: Pasadena, CA 		Just got back from Vahine Island - what an incredible place. Unspoiled beauty and wonderfully undeveloped so nature is closer - unlike the large hotels on Bora Bora I would imagine.

I was fortunate to meet owners and heard of their plans to expand - anyone aware of this? They're planning on putting in a spa in the middle motu and a 6 bedroom home on the south motu.

Loc: Denver 		They've been planning on the spa for about 3 years now. When I was there in November they had started construction on the "Villa" as they called it on the south end. They've already built a new dock away from the main buildings. We can't wait for the spa to be built!!
