No one is responding, so I will.
Air France, Air Tahiti Nui and Hawaiian Air.
Are there some code shares? Perhaps.

My travel agent mentioned this past week that Virgin Airlines is talking about flying to Tahiti. She didn't know when they were going to start, but I got the impression it would be from LAX.

Air France codeshares with Delta Airlines, ATN with American Airlines, Qantas, Air New Zealand. Sometimes booking thru a partner givers cheaper rates, funny enough...
According to our present Prezzzz he had talks last month in New Zealand with Virgin Atlantic (ANZ's partner) to start operating cross Pacific flights to Tahiti, no further info has been issued (yet) on that.

I have sometimes found ATN's flights cheaper on the Qantas website as a codeshare. No Club Tiare miles, though, for whatever that's worth!

I wish ANZ would come back. I was hoping Air Pacific might start serving Tahiti too although the seats on my flight to Fiji made ATN's seem like business class.

Pohere, any info on the following. Know it may be awhile before any info is known. It was auto translated From French, so excuse anything lost in translation. May be booking with Air France in June............:
Air Tahiti Nui exchange pattern PUBLISHED NOVEMBER 3RD, 2011 AT 15:30 BY ISABEL BLANCO IN NEWS - 0 COMMENTS At the request of the board of the airline Polynesian Cedric Pastour will not be extended at the head of Air Tahiti Nui (ATN). It will sell its position as CEO on December 17 next to Stephen Howan, current Secretary General of the carrier.
Cedric Pastour will have taken less than a year at the head of ATN. But Wednesday's announcement of his departure surprised no one in Tahiti. Since the election of Oscar Temaru as President of French Polynesia, it was a ejector seat and his replacement had already been asked several times.
It is up to the new management to try to get out of the ATN crisis : it has lost 3.352 million euros in 2010 and expects to lose 6.796 million in 2011 . Howan Etienne will have to decide whether to continue the restructuring plan its predecessor, including the sale of one of the five A340 of the company.
Interviewed in Les Nouvelles de Tahiti, Cedric Pastour confirmed that downsizing is being considered and Air Tahiti Nui is discussing a deal with one of two major airline alliance SkyTeam , led by Air France - KLM , Alitalia and Delta Air Lines , or Oneworld , with American Airlines , British Airways and Iberia .

I read something else recently about ATN joining one of the big alliances, either Skyteam or OneWorld, but the article I saw said it wouldn't be decided until February 2012. I hope it's Skyteam, so I could use my Delta Miles for award tickets -- that would also open up the possibility of applying AmEx Membership Rewards points to ATN tickets! (Fingers crossed...)

I hope it's Sky team as well.
Did I mention how the seats on ATN are much smaller and the aisles for sure are smaller?
A friend here said that could not be possible as ATN has no new planes, but it sure seemed like it. Or am I so much chunkier?
