If any of you read the Pioneer Woman's blog, she has a recipe for Poke today. Looked good!

Watched the show. It's great to see places I've been show up on television. We've stayed at the Sofitel and had dinner at Villa Mahana.

I haven't found a way to watch the show here yet. However, I read the recipes and I'd love to try the tiare ice cream. Here's the funny part--she notes at the end of the recipe that it's almost impossible to find tiare flowers in the US...but what she doesn't say is that if you're in a place with tiare flowers, like I am, it's impossible to find an ice cream maker!! Sigh...

I don't know what the recipe is, but here is an easy way to make ice cream.

Put all of the ingredients in a ziplock freezer bag. Seal tightly.
Then put that bag into a larger ziplock freezer bag that has ice cubes with salt sprinkled on the ice cubes. Seal that bag

Shake until the ingredients turn into ice cream. The ice cubes with salt are to keep it cold. They are not for eating
