Hi,
I am looking for an artist specifically from French Polynesia for a commission for a children's book. The style must be very REALISTIC!!! I am having trouble finding artists online. Any local help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, the artist must have been born in French Polynesia.
Our company is based in the Twin Cities.
We are a children's book company called I See Me! Inc. We are searching from artists from 65 different countries to work on a new book concept.

Melanie Dupres was not born in FP.
If you have not had any luck, I will be seeing a person who knows the art scene here in FP in a couple if days.
I would like a children's book that has art objects from countries of the world to identify the ABC's . For instance, for the letter Mm, it could be a mola. I was thinking of doing this at one time.
I wanted to use the things made by the ordinary people and not famous artists. It's so fascinating how people create beauty out of nothing. So if you ever feel like doing this, I think it would be great on so many levels.
