A member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux chain, Le Tahaa Private Resort is superbly located on Motu Tautau in the lagoon facing the island of Taha'a.

This traditional Polynesian style 5 stars + resort is 5 minutes by private boat from the main island of Taha'a and 1/2 hour from the main airport of Raiatea.

This deluxe resort offers 48 OverWater Suites & 12 Beach Suites.

The very large Beach Suites have a private patio in a small tropical gardens with a private plunge pool, a separate spacious lounge and a bedroom with a 4 poster bed. The bathroom has an outdoor tub and is very attractively decorated. The deck leads to the beach and looks on to the lagoon and the island of Tahaa.

The Overwater Bungalows are also some of the largest and best appointed bungalow in the South Pacific and feature 2 panoramic windows as well as a glass table with "fish feeding" access to the lagoon. The spacious private deck has a separate breakfast covered area, 2 comfortable lounge chairs and direct access into the crystal waters of the lagoon.

A ceiling fan, air-conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities, mini bar, hair dryer, safety box, television and IDD telephone are standard in all the bungalows.

There are 4 categories of overwater bungalows:
- The Tahaa's, with a view of the lagoon and the island of Tahaa.
- The Sunset's, with a direct view of the lagoon and the sunsets.
- The Bora Bora's which have a view of the lagoon, Tahaa, and a partial view of Bora Bora in the distance.
- The Premium OverWater which are the last 2 bungalows at the end of each row.

The public areas and main restaurant are built amongst the trees tops, providing a lovely view on the lagoon and Taha'a Island in a shaded environment.

There are 3 restaurants : one adjacent to the pool and beach, the other two in the heart of the resort among the trees : the main one for buffet and polynesian show and the other for fine dining.

The infinity pool is located by the lagoon and a small pass and offers idyllic views of the islands and the turquoise waters nearby. There is good snorkeling in the pass leading to the reef.

Besides the wide range of activities & excursions available in Raiatea & Taha'a, the resort has its own diving center and spa as well as Jetski rentals.

There are two different ways to get to the hotel: a 30 mn boat transfer from the Airport on Raiatea or a 15 mn helicopter transfer for VIP clients from Bora Bora Airport to the hotel's helipad .
