The Tiare Resort, opened in 1999, is American owned and was taken over by Outrigger management in 2004. Arriving at Huahine airport, you're driven to the village of Fare, where a shuttle boat takes you to the exclusive enclave of Te Tiare Beach. Guests arrive at the overwater reception and restaurant with splendid views facing west of Raiatea and Tahaa.  You're greeted with bright smiles, a refreshing fruit drink, and a warm "Ia ora na"!

The resort's 41 garden, beach, lagoon, and over-water bungalows are among the most spacious in all Tahiti. Rattan furnishings and pandanus-thatched roofs create an inviting island ambience. And every bungalow faces west so you can marvel at the spectacular Tahitian sunsets.

  - The Garden Bungalows are set on the landscaped lawns and are all well spaced apart and raised slightly on rocks as with traditional Polynesian houses.

 - Deluxe Bungalows are those closest to the beach with the Standard Garden bungalows set 2-4 rows back. Bungalows are very spacious with a large open plan bedroom / lounge and spacious bathroom and have both air-con and ceiling fans. All Garden Bungalows have a large wooden sun deck.
  - Deluxe Garden Bungalows are set with Beach Bungalows are of similar interior design.
- The Overwater Bungalows are either shallow lagoon (close to beach and view obscured by other overwater bungalows),
- or Deep Lagoon (Superior) with unobstructed views of the ocean and outer islands of Raiatea.

Arii Restaurant
Arii Restaurant honors fine dining in a breeze-cooled setting overlooking the lagoon. The island's freshest fish, beef, poultry, and produce are prepared with French and Polynesian flair. A generous breakfast buffet and complete lunch menu are also served.
On select nights each week the restaurant presents a Polynesian Dinner Show. The Tahitian buffet features barbecued and grilled meats and fresh fish, a variety of salads, and selection of desserts. Tahitian musicians and dancers entertain after dinner.

Beach Bar: Poolside cocktails and beachfront snack bar.
Hawaiki Bar: Enjoy a cool cocktail on a warm afternoon and watch the sun as it sets over the island of Raiatea. Occasional musical entertainment.

Horseback Riding:Saddle up on a Marquesan horse and embark on an adventure deep inside Huahine's picturesque interior. Horses are trained in the western style and accommodate beginner or experienced riders. Two-hour or full day ride.
Jet Skiing:Spend an exciting day traversing island lagoons on a Jet Ski. Explore coral reefs and stop at a motu and visit with rays and tropical fish.
Lagoon Cruises:Explore the lagoon on a motorized outrigger canoe, sailboat, or speed boat.
Scuba Diving:Huahine's remarkable underwater sites are considered to be the most beautiful and most authentic of the Leeward Islands. Dive with experienced guides certified by State, International CMAS and PADI. Tanks, regulator and gauges provided. Two-hour dive excursions.
Shark Feeding:Get up close while remaining totally safe. Two-hour tour. Minimum 4 people. Private tour available.
