Spending 9 days in Moorea split between the Pearl Beach and Sheraton. My wife is a strict vegetarian but I of course can eat everything under the sun. Do you know of restaurants that have vegie options? Should we not go to French Polynesia and instead go to Hawaii where ther are more choices? Any suggestions? IP: Logged |

There is an abundance of fruit, veggies, breads, and rice. I don't think it would be too much of a problem? A protein source might be a little difficult? No fish either? I don't remember beans or anything like that. Maybe take some protein bars or some kind of supplement like that? The fruit is to die for!!!! Have fun! IP: Logged |

You shouldn't have any problems with getting restaurants to accommodate a vegetarian diet. Definitely do French Polynesia before Hawaii as there is no comparison. I have been to both, FP twice & Hawaii numerous times and FP wins hands down. Hawaii has just been a closer destiniation for us to visit for a quick getaway. FP is much more spectacular. IP: Logged |
