Hello everyone,
My fiance and I are going to FP for our honeymoon on August 18th. I would like to have a charm made for her with a Tahitian phrase engraved on it. I've been searching for nice Tahitian phrase but haven't had any luck. Does anybody know where I might find a good English/Tahitian dictionary. I'm just looking for something simple like "love", "to my wife", you know, anything that sounds nice. "Today, tomorrow, forever" would also be nice if it will fit on a charm...anyways, thanks for the help in advance.

What a lovely idea! Your bride must be very special. Tahitian for "I love you" is " Ua here vau ia oe". A shorter "forever" is "amuri noatu". the word for "bride" is "vahine haaipoipo". The language is very melodic, but it may have to be a good sized charm to fit your sentiment. Good luck and best wishes.

One of my favorite Tahitian words is "beautiful": "nehenehe" (A Tahitian speaker on this board should check my spelling)

It could describe your bride, your intended life together, etc, etc. I'd leave it undefined, then it can include everything
